Infused Oils and Salves Workshop

Learn to make herb infused oils and salves!

Saturday, February 18, 2016, Noon -4 PM
Honey Pot Herbals, Stoney Point First Nation, 9356 Army Camp Rd.

Herb infused oils are oils which have had healing herbs soaked in them. After the herbs release their healing qualities, pigments and scents into the oil, the plant material is carefully strained and filtered out. Infused Oils display a vivid range of colours and aromas. Infused oils can be used for food, directly on the skin as massage oils or blended with other ingredients into healing salves. Learn how to easily make your own at home!

Learn Hands On!

In this workshop we will learn different methods of making herb infused oils, as well as go over what herbs touse for different conditions. Some herbs can be used to disinfect minor cuts and scrape; others can treat eczema and skin rashes, while some herb infused oils are used to help soothe chronic pain and injuries.

Take What You Learn Home With You!

Each participant will take home a salve of their choice made at the workshop, as well as an instructional handout! Even if you can`t remember all that was taught, your handout will describe each step in the process!

The workshop is facilitated by Registered Herbalist, Joanne Kewageshig

The cost for the workshop is only $40! Honey Pot Herbals always offers subsidized spot for those who have a difficult time paying the fee. Please contact us if you feel you need a subsidized spot.
